About LeCount Davis

Mr. LeCount Davis is an industry veteran with more than 40 years as a financial planner and a passion for service, community growth, and education.

Early in his career, he served as a Senior Consultant for a CPA firm, an Assistant Director of Finance for an international labor organization, and a lecturer at Howard University. He later established his own consulting firm specializing in tax planning, small business management, financial planning, financial management, and investment consulting.

In 1978, Mr. Davis became the first African American to earn the CFP® certification. He’s listed in the 2019 edition of Marquis Who's Who Top Executives and received Investment News' inaugural 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award for Diversity and Inclusion.

He founded the Association of African American Financial Advisers in 2001, and he continues to give back to the profession and advocate for diversity within the industry every day.
